Hi, I’m Ari DIxon.

A prism is a shape with a refracting surface that separates white light into a spectrum of colors. At Prism Perspectives, I believe that an individual's perspective is their reality, and therapy is about understanding all the colors that make up you as a human being, and accepting your authentic self.

I am a licensed independent Mental Health Counselor Associate in Washington State #MHCA.MC.61321123 I received my Master’s Degree in Clinical Counseling from Alliant International University. My supervisor is Tina Gregorius, LMHC #60004782.

I like to get to know my clients as a whole before diving into the issues that bring them in because we do not live in a vacuum. Your past life experiences help inform the way you experience life today. I expect my clients to show up messy and real and honest; and that they learn to trust that I will accept every part of them. Through a blend of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy,  Mindfulness, and Strength-Based Therapy I will work with you to tune into yourself, recognize your unhelpful coping mechanism, and discover self-compassionate ways of living.

I’ve been trained in Clinical Counseling at Alliant International University, and I have a background in Human Services, and Education and Social Justice, from Western Washington University. I’m a creative person who loves theater and creating art, and spending time with my two cats, Alexander and Emma. As a Black, nonbinary, queer individual with ADHD, I enjoy working with adults experiencing identity issues, those coping with neurodivergence, as well as mood disorders like anxiety and depression. Additionally, I love to work with clients on relational issues, whether individually, with couples, or with families; among many other things. Let’s get to know each other and create a plan to improve your way of living!
