Individual
Individual therapy gives individuals the opportunity to confidentially talk through problems or situations with a trained, nonjudgmental professional. It may not make problems disappear, but it equips individuals with the tools needed to cope with them in a more helpful way.
Couple
Couples therapy can help you and your partner improve your relationship. In session, you and your partner while working with a trained professional can address a wide range of relationship issues, including recurring conflicts, feels of disconnection, problems resulting from an affair, issues related to sex, or difficulties due to external stressors.
Family
Family therapy is a type of treatment designed to help with issues that specifically affect a family’s mental health and functioning. It can help individual family members build stronger relationships, improve communication, manage conflicts within the family system, and ultimately create a better home environment.
Therapy has both benefits and risks. During the course of therapy, you might notice changes in your symptoms, problems, and functioning. Since we will be exploring challenging territory in your life, you might experience greater difficulty throughout our work. Therapy typically produces benefits over time, but sometimes as you get to the root of tender issues, you may feel them even more acutely than in the past. I cannot offer any promise or guarantee about the results you will experience. However, as you commit yourself to work through your vulnerable issues and build upon your strengths, it is likely that you will see improvements throughout our work and in the future.
